Bruges Free Tour

This free tour in Bruges will start from the market square, the Grote Markt, which is in a truly central position. Here you can see the impressive Belfry of Bruges, one of the city's most emblematic monuments. Nearby is the Palace of Gruuthuse (also known as the Provincial Palace). Its architecture will take you back in time to the Middle Ages.

After explaining the history of these monuments, we'll stroll across Augustine's Bridge, and we'll fill you in on the backstory of the enigmatic Ghost House. Your guide will lead you to visit the medieval port of Bruges at the Jan van Eyck Square, where art and history come together in a fascinating blend. Next, you'll discover an ancient mystery at the Jerusalem Church, which will wow you with its architectural splendour.

Along your journey, we'll also go back in time to show you the God Houses, tiny medieval communities that'll dazzle you with their unique style. Towards the end, you'll catch a glimpse of the iconic mills and the Cross gate in Bruges, where you'll get a front-row seat for an amazing panoramic view of the city.

Each step in this unique tour will show you the real, laid-back side of Bruges, mixing the magic of the past with the beauty of today. Finally, we'll say our goodbyes. See you next time!
