Jeep Safari in Reserva Nativa
Explore the Mayan jungle in an all-terrain vehicle and enjoy beautiful Reserva Nativa in a fun and safe way. Discover the biodiversity of Mexico, visit a chewing gum camp and much more on board the Polaris ATV.
Jeep Safari in Reserva Nativa
We will collect you from your hotel, or meet you at the entrance to Reserva Nativa (according to the chosen option), before starting our adventure through this natural park which covers an area of more than 100 hectares. Before heading deep into the Mayan jungle, we will ask for permission and protection from the Mayan gods with a traditional ritual.
We will board the all-terrain vehicles and start to explore the jungle. We will make a stop at the observation deck of Reserva Nativa so you can gaze out at the exuberant nature from 20 meters high up.
Our tour continues with a walk through the historic gallery of the park, where you will discover the main animal and plant species which inhabit it. We then get back in the all-terrain vehicle and head to the Mayan house of Nativa Park. Here you will learn to cook beans and make tortillas using a traditional wooden press that was used by Yucatan ancestors.
On the last part of our tour, we will climb into a canoe and sail through the Dakini lagoon until reaching the Lirios oasis. On our return journey to the pier, we will sail close to a colony of Mayan Stingless bees which are native to the region.
Before leaving Native Park, we will take a well-earned dip into the beautiful pool of the park.
Jeep night safari at 6 pm
If you prefer to take this trip in the evening, you can choose this option when making the reservation. The night tour lasts 4.5 hours. We will follow the same route as the daytime safari, apart from the historical gallery and the Mayan house of Native Park.
We will experience canoeing on the Dakini lagoon at night when you can witness the constellations from the park’s observation tower. You can also try a delicious dinner in a traditional palapa building in Native Park.
